Grow With Mae, LLC (“MAE”) is a respectful, thoughtful, and compassionate organization that supports the creativity of each Entrepreneur. The Marketplace community available on our Services is a safe space for all users and inclusive in their diverse backgrounds. Our Anti-Harassment, Discrimination, and Hate Policy (“Policy”) outlines our behavioral expectations for all users.
This Policy is a part of the Terms of Use (“Terms”) entered into between you and MAE. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have the meaning provided in the Terms. By creating an account with MAE, you're agreeing to this Policy and the Terms.
Discrimination/Hate. MAE strictly prohibits the use of its Services to discriminate against people based on the following personal characteristics (“protected characteristics”):

• Race
• Color
• Ethnicity
• National origin
• Religion and Creed
• Gender
• Sexual Orientation
• Disability
• Age

It is the user's responsibility to know your, and your businesses, local laws and any other legal regulations on harassment, discrimination and hate that may apply to you and your business. However, while using our platform we do not allow any Content to be posted or shared that is hateful, including hate speech. For the sake of our Platform, we define Hate Speech as derogatory, degrading, or violent language directed at a user, business, user, third party affiliate, or any person based on their one or more of our protected characteristics.
If you are using our Platform or engaging in any Services with MAE, harassment, discrimination and hateful content are not allowed. As an Entrepreneur on MAE, your shop and its content, including your announcements, promotions, or individual policies, cannot display and discriminatory language or behaviors toward other users including those who are a part of those protected characteristics. Examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to:

• Refusal of Service or Sale based on the belonging to one of more of our protected characteristics
• Expressing or exhibiting intolerance, disdain, or hate for another MAE users on the basis of one or more of our protected characteristics
• Content, including photos or language, that directly or indirectly contains violent, degrading, or hateful language against others based on one or more of their protected characteristics.
• We have a zero tolerance for
  • Content that includes slurs based on our protected characteristics
  • The support of any hate groups and / or their members

Unlawful Harassment is Prohibited. MAE strictly prohibits and does not tolerate unlawful harassment against users of the Service because of said user's actual or perceived race (including traits associated with race, hair texture, and protective hairstyles such as braids, locks, and twists), color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, ethnicity, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender (including gender-related identity, gender nonconformity, and status as a transgender or transsexual individual), age (40 and over), physical or mental disability (including unlawful discrimination against an individual because of the individual's association with a person with a disability), citizenship status, work authorization status, past, current, or prospective service in the uniformed services, military status, unfavorable discharge from military service, genetic information, order of protection status, marital status, arrest record (including an arrest not leading to a conviction, a juvenile record, or criminal history information ordered expunged, sealed, or impounded), conviction record (unless there is a substantial relationship between the previous criminal offenses and the position or the employment would involve an unreasonable risk to property or to the safety or welfare of specific individuals or the general public), or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law. Sexual Harassment is Prohibited. Shoppers and Entrepreneurs are prohibited from harassing other users of the Service based on that individual's actual or perceived sex, sexual orientation, or gender (including pregnancy, gender-related identity, gender nonconformity, and status as a transgender or transsexual individual) and regardless of the harasser's sex or gender.

1. Sexual harassment means any harassment based on someone's actual or perceived sex or gender. It includes harassment that is not sexual in nature (for example, offensive remarks about an individual's sex or gender), as well as any unwelcome sexual advances or requests for sexual favors or any other conduct of a sexual nature, when any of the following is true:
   1. Submission to the advance, request, or conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of employment.
   2. Submission to or rejection of the advance, request, or conduct is used as a basis for employment decisions.
   3. Such advances, requests, or conduct have the purpose or effect of substantially or unreasonably interfering with an employee's work performance by creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment.
2. MAE will not tolerate any form of sexual harassment, regardless of whether it is:
   1. verbal (for example, epithets, derogatory statements, slurs, sexually-related comments, or jokes, unwelcome sexual advances, or requests for sexual favors);
   2. physical (for example, assault or inappropriate physical contact);
   3. visual (for example, displaying sexually suggestive posters, cartoons, or drawings, sending inappropriate adult-themed gifts, leering, or making sexual gestures);
   4. online (for example, derogatory statements or sexually suggestive postings in any social media platform including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.).

If you believe that there is discriminatory, harassing, or hateful Content on the Services, please report it by contacting MAE through help@growwithmae.com, and we will conduct an investigation. If you see any posting, Product listing, or Marketplace that you believe violates our Prohibited Products list or our Anti-Harassment Policy, we encourage you to contact us immediately through help@growwithmae.com.
